Hey y’all hey! So happy you found your way to my little corner of the internet! I’m Yolonda Jordan and this is a behind-the-scenes look at “my crochet life”. I first learned how to crochet from my Great Aunt when I was seven years old... I started my first crochet business in 2011 under the name Don’t Get It Twisted Crochet selling mainly infinity scarves and beanie hats. In 2013 I made my first crochet doll and in 2015 I decided to focus my business just on doll making and My Pretty Brown Doll was born. I made my crochet business my full-time job in 2017 and I haven’t looked back.

This is my space to share what it’s like navigating being a full-time fiber artist, in addition to creative business tips I also share reviews of some of my favorite and sometimes not-so-favorite things. Long story short I’m just a girl making my crochet dreams come true!
